Men's Pelvic Floor Therapy

Pelvic floor muscles in men control bowel and bladder, in addition to facilitating sexual function. When these muscles are not working optimally, a man may experience urinary/fecal leakage, dribbling, difficulty initiating voiding,  constipation, erectile dysfunction, or pain during sexual activity.

1 in 7 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer during his lifetime, and the prevalence of urinary leakage significantly increases following surgical treatment.

As a trained pelvic floor therapist, Justin has restored hope for many men who expect to be relying on Depends or "little blue pills" for the rest of their life. By utilizing biofeedback to determine pelvic muscle functioning, Justin guides a male patient in learning how to activate muscles and relax muscles at appropriate times to alleviate symptoms. Like all Functional Freedom therapy visits, treatment occurs in the person's home, as to ensure the utmost confidentiality and discreetness of services.
